Blockchain is influencing humanitarian aid

According to an article published by Science X, NGOs and charities are experimenting with blockchain technology in the hopes of increasing their effectiveness and coming up with innovative solutions to humanitarian issues. Specific interventions being explored include "offering refugees a virtual identity, reassuring donors that their money is being well spent, [and] rushing funds where they are needed most."
